Your Life is a Mirror

Think of life as a mirror.

What you like in others is what you secretly admire in yourself. What you dislike in others is what you privately despise in your own being. You read your own emotions in the faces of friends, you see your own motivations in the actions of others.

You can call this projection, you can put it down to fallacies in the thinking brain, or you can use it to enlighten yourself.

Admire it in them? Appreciate it in yourself. Annoyed by it in others? Find it in you. Thinking about why they are the way they are? Think about why you think they are the way they are.

Life reflects back to you the things you put out. You hear the station you are tuned in to, you see the world through a lens of your making, you get back what you put in. The sooner you recognise inputs as outputs reflected, the sooner you can begin to change your world.
